Rainham Ladies Choir
If you were fortunate to have attended on this occasion, you must agree, it was first class, the singing with four part harmonisation was of a very high standard and the diction was very clear.
The items varied from popular to jazz and included a beautiful solo, and a very melodic trio.
The accompanist also gave us some stirring pieces on the organ that was very much appreciated and allowed the singers to have a well earned breather.
Their conductor, Mr. Brian Skinner, is understandably very proud of this choir, as they performed throughout without music copies, and their smiling faces and smart attire was a pleasure to watch.
Congratulations were also in order as they have been chosen to sing with other top choirs at the Albert Hall.
A big thank you to every one involved in organising these fund raising evenings. We look forward to the next one, featuring a Male Voice choir on Nov. 7th. Not to be missed.
