Weekly and Monthly Prayer Meetings
Weekly House Group/Bible Study
Just a reminder that a few of us are still meeting at John and Fran’s house (13, Mooring Road) on Tuesday evenings from 7.30pm. We would love to see our number grow and we extend a warm welcome to anyone who feels able to join us. The evening usually follows the following format: catch-up on our week; bible study and short prayer; drink and biscuits; more chit-chat; time to go home, usually by 9.30pm. The whole evening is very relaxed and there is often laughter! It is a time of deepening our relationship with the Lord and with each other. So, if you feel that you would like to come along then see John or Fran in church or ring us on 811129. We look forward to hearing from you!
Monthly Prayer Meeting
One of the ways we show we care about people and situations is to pray about them. Some of us like to pray alone and others of us like to pray together. As well as the prayers we share in church on a Sunday we also have our monthly prayer times at Mollie Loft’s home (7 Acre Close) on the first Wednesday of each month at 10.30am.
Perhaps you might like to come and give it a try? We start at 10.30am with a cuppa and a chat, then one of us leads us in a few thoughts and then we pray – either aloud or in silence; however we feel most comfortable - ending at 11.30am.
If you’ve never given it a thought, or a try, why not give us a go – we’re very friendly and would love to welcome you.
